Our vision of a wise way
The symbol of the “bearer of wisdom” in the world is considered by some cultures to be the common raven or “corvus corax” by it’s scientific name. Hence we decided to name our brand “CoraxTech”, the technology trying to bring a bit of wisdom with the ideas it brings to life.
Who are we
We are a band of four friends, some of us family, collectively controlling funds of a small company where we exchange ideas and turn them into reality if we unanimously agree they are useful for the world at large. We make our ideas come to reality by engaging factories worldwide, distributing wealth to families of workers around the world as well as you, the person benefiting from the materialization of our ideas. It was this desire of helping both producer and consumer by inserting our ideas in the middle that sparked our interest and determination of making ideas more than just chat between friends. We think this is the wise way of things. Making ideas be a benefit for the world at large.
How do we control awareness of our ideas - our manifesto
We control the value and awareness of our products by judging ourselves against four vectors striving always to make sure we have something in each category before going forward with any idea.
The vectors we chose:
- Have direct utility for our customers
- Have indirect utility/advantage for our customers
- Do something for humanity at large
- Do something good for the environment
Have direct utility for our customers because if not doing something that brings a direct, specific use, why even do it? We try to materialize ideas with direct use for you, the customer, personally.
Have indirect utility/advantage for our customers because we want our products to enhance who you/we are as humans. We want them to make or keep us and the ones around us healthier. We want our products to make us socialize, or help our peers and the ones around us. We want our products to keep you human. The good part of human 🙂 . Example: we'd rather build an indoor exercise bike that doubles as an electric generator rather than a gasoline-powered sound system. One keeps you healthy and at the same time lets you get a clean second benefit. The other just eats up your oxygen and the neighbor's oxygen.
Do something for humanity at large with every product because we believe there is no short term gain. Everything we do must to some small extent help someone else either close or far. We all need to buy something that solves one problem for us, but wouldn't it be great to know that it also helped someone else by design or manufacture? Yes. This is possible.
Do something good for the environment because it's where we live. Even if we'd colonize other planets, we'd need to keep the ones already there alive if we are to grow. Being just a wondering scourge species through space leaving burned habitats behind does not suite us. We have the brains to be better.
